Then we head off to try Luxembourg wine at Ross suggestion. If you have never tried it - definately give it a go. Amazing couple hours drinking fine white wine.

... wrist. This apparently put a dent in her trip and the hospital in Paris wasn't going to be able to put on a lighter cast for her until Friday so we went ahead and had her come out today and replaced the cast with an ace bandage ourselves. She was a little frightened, but I'm sure her wrist will be okay. The trip here was very pretty and I wish I could have taken pictures but the train was moving too quick to really catch anything. It was my first trip on a ...
Luxembourg, Luxembourg torilusk... is the hardest part" he told me.
As I left Mr. Gillissen, to follow up on an e-mail I had sent about a week earlier, I called Mr. François who lives up near Liège. I hoped to stop and see him and his wife tomorrow morning, but he told me he was having x-rays done (he has been diagnosed with cancer). He said he was sorry but we wouldn’t be able to meet this time, but he thanked me for trying. He sounded very positive. He’s in no pain, and told me he’s at peace ...
... oil and garlic. It was actually very good, and I'm not a big broccoli fan. We spent the rest of the evening chatting in the kitchen because it was the warmest room in the house. There is a wood burning stove in the kitchen and that is what is used mainly to heat the house. It got very cold here. Karyn said that it was -3 C the prior evening!
We chatted around the stove and listened to a variety of music ...

I started classes yesterday, and so far have had my Rise and Fall of Hitler history class, My Geography of Europe class, and my Conversational French class. Today I will have my Peoples of Europe class as well. So far, I like my classes and think I will learn a lot. I ...
Arlon, The Ardennes, Belgium alina-beth... in til 11. Did our requested chore of getting milk from neighbor's farm (freshest best milk we've had), ate bread with jam and sac magique (lebanese herbal mix and olive oil), chilled and worked on internet getting hostels and writing this, ate Brunch of leftovers cooked in Aga (their stove that heats the entire house, dries clothes and cooks their food, they don't have a microwave). Jad took us back into town, first to see an ...

... always interested in how each other's lives were going. The final group of workers were the Polish. They ventured over every year during the wine harvest, to earn as much money for each day of work in Luxembourg as they would for a whole month back home. The funniest character at my work was a Polish man twice my age. He usually worked outside in the dumpsters. As grape stalks and other vine remnants poured in, he used his pitchfork to even the dumpster out ...
Wellenstein, Luxembourg modernoddyseus... small country, all the cartoons on TV and in the newspaper seemed to not have words, just gestures and sound. The weather was kind of grey, the food was good. We discovered Croque Monsieurs (like grilled cheese sandwiches with ham -delish!)
Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, Luxembourg lolly... Casemates - tunnels and chambers dug to further fortify Luxembourg city. Saw Notre Dame church and walked along the park at the bottom of the valley where we found an old church built into the side of the hill. Luxembourg is a beautiful medieval valley.
