... has pulled people away. Hanö is not entirely cut off, there is an hourly ferry service to the mainland in summer, reducing to a twice-daily service during the winter, so people could, just, live here and work on the mainland I suppose but then why make life difficult?

We had a couple of rain showers during the afternoon but in between, the weather was very pleasant and we went for a short stroll, avoiding areas of long grass as Julie is now totally paranoid about being ...

Stil failing to pay organ and sing at the same time I move to uke, which seems to work pretty well. Still no luck with the water, but I think it’s at least running out. The water service is down the creaky basement of the house, which requires the rearranging of the unused kitchen to get to. Pressing the button sounds like starting an old lawnmower and ...

... together, more like a housing village in the country than farmhouses. The letterboxes are an array of personalities. A sign up ahead says something about no entrance to certain people. I hope that doesn’t include me, as it looks the safest of the three options. Adventure time. Traveling along the snow here is still present between the trees and in places on the path. There are big sheets of ice underneath that bubble and crack a lift in different places when I walk on ...
