Left Cousin Larry's house about 8 am and crossed the Wisconsin border in under 30 minutes on the back roads. 1st stop was Twin Lakes on the Wisconsin border. One of my favorite John Prine songs "Lake Marie" is based on these lakes (although Lake Marie is really called Lake Mary). Here I am "standing by peaceful waters".

Ready to call it a day.

It was interesting to note that there was no fixed cost to this stop. The owner asked for a donation at our discretion based on the enjoyment we received. Needless to say, we gave a good ...

It was so nice to sleep late, have a wonderful breakfast and enjoy a quiet morning at Cindy and Earl's. After lunch they delivered us to the airport for our 2 hour bus ride to Forest City, Iowa and the Winnebago factory. There we met about 100 other folks that are joining us for this adventure. We are ready to get on with it!! We arrived in Forest City and received the door ...
