    Even though the hotel is not brand new it is updated. The staff is wonderful, my blog is about them!!!

    Friday 20/3 - Travel day so no news. Just left the warmth of Florida (23 - 28 degrees) for the cold and rain in Washington (5 degress).     ... again. We got the metro to the closest stop to the Lincoln Memorial (Foggy Bottom... We found it hilarious too) and still had to walk about 20 minutes. By the time we reached it, we were soaked. So disgusting. After taking a few snaps, we went south towards the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, then followed around the edge of Tidal Basin towards the FDR memorial, which was thankfully mostly shaded.

    Stayed in Vienna with former Intel friends (Biju and Ruby Chandran) and squeezed in as much Washington D.C. as was possible. Some really wonderful exhibits and memorials. We were able to see Nat'l Air and Space Museum, Nat'l Art Gallery, and Natural Museum of History (NMH). The NMH is amazingly rich in its exhibits and variety.
