April 1: Our trip began today with about 450 miles of driving from Portland to Boise, ID. We departed around 8:30 am after final packing and other last minute chores (putting out the trash, arranging house plants, and cleaning out the refrigerator). We stopped at Jim and Patty's for coffee and breakfast treats and then at Troutdale for gas. We drove all the way to Boise with two rest stops and one refill on gas. We made Ogden Utah on our 2nd day of travels and are now 754 miles from home. Yesterday we drove a total of 419 miles to St. George, UT and travelled through 4 states--CA, NV, AV and UT. The Airstream (Grey Goose) towed beautifully with no complaints.

After doing our drive by of the Aerospace Museum, we headed back to our campsite once again. After getting electricity hooked back up and the AC running, we decided that we deserved a nap...we NEVER take naps...and that took care of an hour and a half of our afternoon! We plan to head out of here in the morning in the general direction of Idaho. We have had a most enjoyable day.
