... check before boarding which I'm not that concerned about until it becomes obvious that is no ordinary search and these are no ordinary military personnel. Not sure if it's because of the recent arrest of Mexican drug kingpin, Joachim 'El Chapo' Guzman or it's always like this but it was intense; seven or eight navy guys, two with drug sniffing dogs, searched the trucks and it's contents seriously. ... wanted to get to Mulege, a further 40 miles or so but the heat was taking its toll and I had lost an hour as the time had changed at the border. After asking at a few hotels which were all full, found a nice one on the edge of town for has air con, a pool and sea views Yippee !!

Have not see one other bike today ...
