... protest ( well occasionally over the 2 days he did have a little dummy spit but if it was me he would have been left in no doubt of my state of being!! ).... so.. anyway we decided instead to head out to the Galleria to get me some new luggage.

... Our next stop was the Old City court house which was fascinating and learned all about the slave trades and the Dred Scott Case.
We jump on a city trolley (bus) and seen a bit more of downtown assisted by our friendly driver.
Dinner stop was at a nice steak house which was lovely.

Today before leaving St Louis we went to visit the zoo. it was a very nice morning and seen loads of animals and even took a wee train ride.

... sat down is beyond me let alone if they wanted to pee!! Went right up to present day, what bras they wore and garters (suspenders), clothing – everything – it was great. Anyway enough of that.

I wanted to catch some more live music, and I found a place in downtown St Louis called the Oyster Bar, where on earth they get them fresh from I wouldn’t know as its really a long way away from any ocean, anyway, sat myself down ...

Then, much to Elwood’s confusion, we headed off in search of a local delicacy, Beer Nuts. We approached the free taste testing with the enthusiasm of travellers on a budget, and were not disappointed. We bought some nuts to have on another day – with less driving time. In my experience, stomachs can be funny things when it comes to excessive beer nuts....
