We didn't know it at the time, but Sitka was the only highlight of the four day ferry cruise, and I do mean the only highlight. Oh, I forgot, we did see a lighthouse one day.

... so this was a quite good exercise! After getting back and resting a bit we went out again to go to the beach. Alex and his girlfriend Elsa came along too and Alex made everybody a sandwich.
