    ... City Hall. There was a children's event there where you could climb into, on and around various municipal trucks, police cats, fire tenders, etc. It all looked good fun and a good PR exercise for the council.
    We then walked down Miracle Mile, an old regeneration initiative that encouraged small shops to prosper in Coral Gables. Its founder, George Merrick, has his statue outside of City Hall.

    ... the beach for the sunset. We saw huge ships exiting the port, and the bright lights of the Miami strip. We then had a quick swim in the pool before changing and heading out on the strip.
