Year 2, Day 115-116 Lake Lanier with Nancy. We headed down from our Campground to Tryon and Lake Lanier with some time with our friend from Hilton Head Island, who has relocated to a lovely paradise in the lakes and mountainous region of SW North Carolina.

Agriculture is a major part of this area. It is known for its apple production as well as other fruits and vegetables. We definitely took advantage of the fresh apples by stopping and picking up our favorite Honey Crisp apples and some homemade apple bread as well.
All in all, it was a nice stop that we are glad we made.
