Preparations for the Lakes.
Maps on the table. AW guidebooks at hand and a lot of coffee available. Time for making plans again. October is getting close and it is time to go to the Lakes again. The Lakes… Yes that means rain. Just like the last time. But it also means a lot of walking, camping and fun.

Terug in koud Amsterdam, een terugblik
... Kep was aardig, maar meer voor koppels, ik had daar geen aanspraak. In elk plasje of grachtje wordt met een netje gevist, ga je over de grens van Thailand dan zie je bijna niemand dat meer doen. Siem Reap was een hoogtepunt, zowel de stad als de Khmer tempels, met de de Angkor Wat als bezienswaardigheid een hoogtepunt. Bier is goedkoop vergeleken met de andere landen. Behalve Kep was het personeel in de guesthouses prettig, waardoor ik me een beetje thuis voelde.

O início de mais uma (pequena) jornada
... o para o balcão de turismo retirar nossos cartões I Amsterdam.... aqueles que dão direito a transporte público, entradas em museus, descontos, etc.... tínhamos já comprado pela internet do Brasil.... mas tivemos a primeira surpresa, o trem do aeroporto para a cidade não estava incluído... mas pagamos mesmo assim a parte, a ida e a volta... nada de mais....
Pegamos então o trem que saiu pontualmente as 19:30 da estação ...
