    Arriving in Walhalla around lunchtime we joined the group of hopefuls waiting to ride the restored narrow gauge tourist diesel train now running only 10km to a stop called Thompson. The original train ran all the way to Moe in the 19th century.     ... all players bowlers fielding awesome bowling them out for 69 I was wicketless in the 20th over a great start . We chased in down with 5 wickets in hand ( I was next in ) and 7 overs to spare . As started at 2 getting bowled for 100, prob 20 short on a deck which was flattening out and drying up .     ... as was stuck in rush and took 3 hours . Stopped off for a KFC on the way down and arrived at his parents house at 8 pm a loong day travelling . Went to call back home but as their parents are pre historic have no wifi so 12 weeks without internet will be tough . But hopefully I will get through it :-) A tough day training tomorrow ...

    ... of the bus load of seniors that just arrived. We must of stumbled on to a tourist trail!
    Never mind, it was a great little place to explore and they all went off on the historical train ride, so that cleared the streets. Got held up by the chatty lolly shop owner, but he was nice enough and gave us a history lesson to boot. He suggested lunch at the pub but it was booked out by yet another bus load coming in, so ...
