... weeks of sun, cheese, baguettes, pate, wine, and all things French. We travel down to the South of France in 2 weeks to visit my Italian cousin (who has 2 girls (more girls!!) ages 3 1/2 and 18 months) who are holidaying near Arles (where Van Gogh lived and painted his famous 'Cafe at Night') and my Aunt who lives near Uzes a really pretty French town not far from Arles.

... understanding of the French and their culture, we decided to take in a show at the Théâtre de Beaune. Upon our arrival a few weeks ago, I looked at the schedule of events for this season. There was only one event that would work during our stay- a Barber Shop Quartet. How typically French! We bought two tickets anyway.
Show time was at 8:30 p.m. It must have frustrated all of the French to have a show that began at the hour ...
I forgot to take a camera but if we go back, I will take a few shots of fields, and maybe even a fisherman if I can get away with it.
