... the LA ink shop. I tried to convince Wade to get an 'I love mom' tattoo but he just wouldn't go for it. We stopped by In-N- Out burger for lunch. This chain was founded in California and is still owned by the granddaughter of the founders. They only have 3 burgers on their menu but there are other items you can order if you know the ' not so secret menu' which is online.

... out boots for Matt. I managed to find a pair for $39.99 so I bought them. Thankfully they fit and he doesn't hate them.

Isabelle dropped me at Disneyland just after 3pm and I met up with Matt. I had all along not been interested in going to Disneyland so we just wandered around the shops. The only problem was that we weren't booked on shuttle until 6.30pm.

... lack of sleep, I was up early on Monday to get some more valuable tanning time in before the plane. That time went far too fast!! By just after midday I was packed and on my way to the airport. The journey was uneventful and I was at the airport on time. Feeling particularly nostalgic about my travels, I boarded the plane destined for home - sad my travels were coming to an end, pleased to be going home, but knowing I would HAVE to do something like this ...

... We also saw the Goodyear blimp fly over us on the way and it was landed next to the road on the way home. Balboa Island is tiny with really sweet roads with proper American houses, you sort of feel like you're driving through their houses because the roads are so small.
