San Jose, California, United States danharriet... in your head. You have feet in your shoes You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go. You'll look up and down streets. Look 'em over with care. About some you will say, "I don't choose to go there." With your head full of brains and your shoes full of feet, you're too smart to go down any not-so-good street. And ...
San Jose, California, United States muzicmaniac... chance. After a few emails and calls you are now looking at the new merch girl for Eric Durrance! People say that luck is when preparation meets opportunity. And Lord knows I've prepared! So now I'm going through the pre-tour jitters. Having to squeeze in laundry and packing in between family and previous obligations and work. Stressful, but it's what I live for! I'M GOING TO NASHVILLE!!!!
San Jose, California, United States gypsyqueen... think I'm crazy. To them, the idea of just up and going somewhere strange and new is a completely irrational thought. "Who are you going with?" they ask. "Nobody." I casually reply. "Nobody?? That's so dangerous!" True, I think. However in the part of San José that I live in, walking to the corner store alone at night is pretty dangerous. It's not like this is some half baked idea. I'm getting information on US embassies, local travel warnings, catching up ...
San jose, California, United States hellsbelle... time we went up to see my family. We got into San Jose at lunch time, so we stopped at a hole-in-the-wall Mexican place called, Tacos al Pastor. It was great. From there we went to the main event. DH bought our tickets, then we all walked around the gift shop. I was amazed at how big the gift shop was. One room had a big gingerbread house made to look like the Winchester ...
San Francisco, California, United States sh0tt1... Saturday nite clubbing was at GAMeboi ...hehe..some of you will know what that means. This wasn't on my own though, cause i met up with my friend Carlo and his friends at the club. There were lots of drinks and dancing, and i hung out with Carlo's friend Patrick most of the nite. The music musst have been too good, cause i was all hot and sweaty when it was time to go home. Welll, as San Francisco has the biggest population of gays ...
San Francisco, United States raccoonboi... with the interview itself, and the hours of preparation, and the travel time. I feel a bit beat up. Bad mattresses have continued to take a toll on my lower back. Everywhere we go around here it's traffic and people and noise and speed and confusion. I need a day off. Thankfully, we have a couple of those coming up. I just want to find a park and lie in the sun and sleep. As always, I'm going to need a vacation when I get home... And yet...I'm doing exactly what I want and need ...
Alameda, California, United States tim_and_sally... We drove up the big hill to Alamo Place, site of that famous row of houses, and had lunch in the park. Leaving the elegance of Nob Hill, we drove to Haight Ashbury where Jono took a picture of me under the famous street sign and we visited many hippie shops selling expensive t-shirts, incense and posters. We saw quite a number of aged hippies, one of whom danced up to us and exclaimed "I'm crazy, you're not!". If I had had a larger budget I could have spent a fortune on esoteric bits ...
