(I emailed the guy back mildly outraged about his innappropriate come on and turned out to be less creepy than expected - he said that from my picture he figured he would probably want to hit on me on the ride down and if a failed sexual pass happened halfway through the trip it could make the last hours incredibly awkward, a situation he wanted to avoid. So he turned out to actually be attempting to make things less awkward by sending me a creepy one line butt ...

Inn-guests tandem bicycles and took off across town to walk the Harmonist labyrinth.  On the way we marveled at the gardens: huge extravagant peonies in many gardens, roses everywhere, vegetables growing beside almost every house.This afternoon we'll walk the Cathedral labyrinth and I plan to spend some more time in the Roofless Church (called so because the sky is overhead).  Photos of that later.

... Bungoma/Kabula, Kenya for the rest! I'm absolutely thrilled! I am having a wonderful student teaching experience! I love teaching! :) I am a little nervous about going to Kenya, but also very excited! Overall, I hope to have a wonderful time in Africa! :)

My parents were able to come up and spend some time in Evansville with me! They got here on Tuesday, when I did. I was able to get them a room in the same hotel that we were staying at. We went out to a nice Italian restaurant that night, called Angelo's, recommended by Erin, who is from Evansville. Then we quickly discovered that there wasn't much to do ...

... and spend January in New Zealand. After the trip, I'm going to spend two months (approximately) at home relaxing and finishing up two online classes. Then I'm going on a 4 1/2 month journey through Mexico, India, and parts of Southeast Asia that I will probably never forget. More on that later though!
