We finally got out of the RV park where we spent The Season (Winter). Drove 325 north up I-75 to I-10 west to Tallahassee RV. Stopped about 4 times along the way. Not quite used to driving so far yet. LOTS of traffic on the 6-lane highway around Ocala and Gainesville. We stayed in the slow lane and ...

... the Gulf Coast is well east of the more famous Redneck Riviera which boasts crystal clear emerald-blue water. However, we thoroughly enjoy our walks on the beach, playing Frisbee and discovering hermit crabs scampering all around sea grass sections of sandbars.

Our first outing was to St. George Island State Park. This barrier island lies between Apalachicola Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. It is known for its nine miles of pristine ...

We have seen so many wonderful things on this trip, Niagara Falls, Acadia National Park, Hopewell Rock, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and so many others. We have had some of the best food we have ever eaten, the ...

We spent a very fast paced 3 days with our grandsons. We took them for the day on Sunday and anyone that has ever kept 3 little boys, 8, 7 and 6, know that is a tiring:)

We took them back to the camper for lunch and over to see the light house on St. Marks. There is a little hiking trail that the boys enjoyed. Overall a great visit. Also our oldest just got a house and we helped by keeping the boys away so they could paint the day away.
