... Immigration at the Dallas airport was (ironically) the least organized we have seen in our whole year traveling. Hoards of people, confusion, hours in line, and unfriendly faces were our warm welcome back to the USA. We met a famous boxing announcer and spent time chatting until I noticed he was taking (what he thought were) indiscreet photos of me on his phone. I called him out and made him delete ...

Because of our early departure, Kathleen had left fruit, bread and wonderful muffins for our breakfast. We tried to sneak out quietly but four women with wheeled cases and lots of other stuff just make a lot of noise on hardwood floors.

Right turn out of the car park and we were on the road to Shannon Airport....nothing to it. Everything in the area is well signed for us tourists.

After dropping our car at Dan Dooley's lot with ...

Went to the King Ranch today! This is about 50 miles south of Corpus Christi really not a bad drive. Actually a little chilly today 68 and cloudy. We arrived at the ranch around 11:00 am...we actually got up and went out that early! This was a tour of the ranch...this is the largest working ranch in Texas with about 65,000 heads of cattle. This ranch also has quarter horses...they had a triple crown winner back in the ...
