Howdy all. I'm sure ya'll will be glad to hear that my daily blog is coming to an end soon.....but not before I brag about what a perfect day we had today. None of us were happy to have our fun week at the Valle Cruces Overlook end, but we manned up and hopped in our cars at 6:30 am to head home (by way of detour). ... towards the Monongahela Incline but did not know just how far we would have to walk. At the Sheraton Hotel we asked where the incline was. We were almost there. Took it back up the hill and walked along Grandview Avenue to our car.
There was a football game on at the Heinz Field in town. We could see the big screen form the top walk.
Back at the hotel, we discovered we could see the inclines and Grandview Avenue from our hotel. Our room did come with a view.
This is where we stayed the first night. We ended up having to go to the weigh scales on our way out, and to gas-up. We didn't leave Virginia until about noon. :\ We went through the mountains of Maryland and West Virginia, then entered Pennsylvania.

Our final morning began cloudy and damp like almost every other day this week, but after a quick breakfast of cereal and bagels the skies finally began to lighten as we sat quietly doing our morning devotions for a half hour or so.
