What this program has most definitely achieved is a stop to inter generational homelessness through education of children in those families. Some of these children, now 11 years on have managed to not only graduate but have gone on to gain scholarships at some of the most prestigious colleges including Brown and Columbia. ... Park for three hours, we saw the friends fountain (not the actual friend's fountain but the one that it was based on) we also saw turtle pond and Belvadear castle where the weather is taken in Central Park. After breakfast we took yoghurts, apples, bananas (well, Lucy took a banana – I obviously hate the awful yellow ***** in skins), and little cinnamon cakes for snacks later. Then we headed out on the subway to the Statue of Liberty boat cruise in Battery Park.
