A museum and gift shop were located in the "convento" wing, the only building left of the quadrangle that used to surround the gardens. We saw a display commemorating the Alfred Hitchcock movie "Vertigo" which our guide had already told us was filmed on the Mission grounds in 1957. Of course ...

... continued on to find the first site that looked decent, we were wiped. Ended up finding a great spot well off the trail next to a few big Giants.
