10:30 was the time our boat to Alcatraz departed. We got up wayyyy too early in my opinion, but it turned out to be a good thing in the end. Our boat was leaving from the pier 33 and we were planning on parking somewhere close to 39 and walking to 33. However, the GPS didnīt know where 39 was so we put in the Pier 40 because we figured itīd be right next to eachother.

HA HA HA. Now go and look at the map of SF piers. ...

We had ...

... but I'm not sure how well his idea to create rain would work; he believes that all we need to do is get a large freezer, freeze water blocks and then drop them over the paddocks to create 'rain'..he was serious. The combination of peak hour traffic, and the driver getting 'confused' as to where we wanted to go (a major street - ?!) & thus going the wrong way cost us double what the fare should have been. We had a big day so went to the nearby pub for tea and were home and in bed by 8:00 ...

... During one guards were taken hostage and several guards and prisoners were killed. During the following siege the marines were called in and they grenaded the place. The other escape attempt was very well planned and they still don't 100%25 know if the 2 3 prisoners survived or drowned. Accommodation Motel 6 in the tenderloin. Rooms looked fairly modern and clean and the to remote even worked for the to. BUT I woke up with bites on my arms the last 2nights. Probably bed bugs. The hotel ...
