    So yesterday we travelled from Monterey to our new hotel in Fremont. We had decided to go here so that we could look around Palo Alto and the big businesses round here... Ok it was Johns idea as he is sooo into technology and the big firms but I went along with it.

    ... convert to heaters so it’s as warm as we want to make it. I am now wearing long pants and socks but Tim is holding out and is determined to wear shorts till Winter Break – 1 more week.     ... nice bonus, we found the meals a bit average on the whole. Once it got dark (which was about 5pm) there wasn't a lot to do so not long after dinner we had Marcelo put our beds down and we were in bed by about 8.30pm.     Believe it or not, this is the only free day in out itinerary so we start with chores.....or more precisely, James is out at 7.15 to be first in line ( classic American expression) with the washing machine, we get the dryer going going and a second load and within 90 minutes that job is done.
