      ... a further bit of sweet talking enabled them to admit 1.5 guests each which is great given our layover here is 6 hours (don't ask, long story)!! Tara and I have amused ourselves with a spot of shopping and some makeup lessons at Bobbie Brown but we're back now with the boys and a glass of champagne - grown ups that is, kids on the diet coke! So far the plane looks like it's on time so fingers crossed it stays that way and we'll be jetting off in 2 hours ...

      ... games etc. I watched the life of Brian and your Mother watched Noah and the new 300 film. I also watched all four episodes of W1A. The flight time was 8 hours due to a couple of delays, we hit a few turbulent patches. There was a Titan rep on board who flew out with us from Heathrow called George who is about 70+.       ... Don't know how yet, but we were put in premium economy. Girls were so excited. They got juice in little champagne glasses as soon as they sat down. I was a little excited when as soon as I boarded the plane (at 10.30am) I was offered bubbles! A sign of good things to come.

      The girls even loved the head phones, apparently they are so much better than the back of the plane. The seats were bigger and so much more space. We won't ever be able to travel ...

      ... Emma and Mark saw me off at St Albans station - and got the tube from there all the way to Heathrow Terminal 4.

      I sat down in a normal waiting seat, read and had a snack or two. After a while a female airport employee came up and said it was OK for me to go into the exclusive club lounge and lie down on the couch there, because it wasn't officially open so nobody else ...
