I still can't believe I am here in this fantastic place. Each day is absolutely excellent and having a job would be perfection. I'm striving towards that end, so hopefully in a few days I will have a better idea of what I'll be doing and where.

At CQ, we say a street performer, who successfully persuaded the crowd of 50 onlookers to part with about $10 each on average. Took some essential photos on the steps of the Sydney Opera House,mother meandered through the Gardens Botanic, crossing Hyde Park and back down George street to the Meriton. TV and chocolate ...

The largely unfamiliar part of my travels is now over and I have entered the second half, and more familiar part of my trip. After an eye opening experience in (some of) Africa and Asia I am now embarking on (some of) Australasia and North America. I arrived in Sydney just under a week ago after a 9 hour flight and have been staying with a lovely family who are cousins of the wonderful Ali Ryder (for those of you who know her). ... back from school. My friends know how much I enjoy a house tour and they showed us the whole place. Mum and dad will love to hear all about it when I get home.

At this point jet lag kicked in. John and I were totally spaced out. I peeled some potatoes for Sue and realised my brain and hands weren't connected! A large glass of water helped enough that a glass of wine sounded good!!
