Janet is getting ready with the Map, computer, hot water. Green lines on the map indicate where we are going but really we just want to ski for 2 months then travel with the girls visiting cool places. We will miss grans, but will somehow get by!
... its much to far to walk, I must come back to their place for a lift. Oh and then a coffee. Oh wait, lunch too. I've officially been adopted, I must go back for coffee once a week and keep them updated on everything. Truly the most lovely people, so so welcoming and kind, amazing lives too! They look 60 but actually are late 70's, great people. So after a wonderful stop over I make it back to town to sort my life out.
I think I'm going to like this place.
... car and the town of Fernie is well set up in terms of facilities and restaurants that are of reasonable quality.
The reason we are here is for the skiing and with 5mtrs of snow already I can say its the best we have experienced for a long time.
We were expecting crowds but there are none in fact , no queues on the lifts and the lift staff insist on being your friend for 15 seconds or so as you get set to get on the chair lift.
Today I made a lovely roast dinner for Ben and I and as a treat I decided to make some pancakes with maple syrup and ice cream. Yum!!
Ok so I used a packet to create the pancakes but I had to add an egg and milk!!!
Ted and I were quite happy to create the scrummy food whilst Ben watched Naruto on the internet.
