The start of our trip.
Departure from Huntsville toward Chicago. Got an all day lay over in Chicago because there is only one flght to Chicago from Huntsville.
All went well other than the American Airlines agent had to physically complete the baggage connection between Paris and Malta. This meant that he had to hand write the ultimate destination. I don' think he has ever heard of Malta.

Got up at 0830 am, showered, dressed & down for breakfast. Headed off to Lynchburg & the Jack Daniel Distillery tour. Free tour was Great! & tour guide Jason was very good (retired firefighter) We walked into town after & had lunch at the a Iron Kettle restaurant. We went to the general store & bought some souvenirs. In another shop I found some sanuk sandals on sale so bought that & some Whiskey fudge. ...

Who likes to fish? We certainly enjoyed fishing with my sister, Dena and brother-in-law John. Of course riding on the pontoon was not complete without Smokey (their dog). The weather was still a bit hot for the big fish but we caught a lot of fun size bass that wanted to fight their way off your hook.
