    ... sunscreen, and sat in beach chairs by the water. The water felt good, but was like bathwater. There was a good amount of seaweed in the water, and the waves were nice. We enjoyed relaxing and chatting all day.

    Met the guys at Doc's Restaurant for dinner. Had tropical drinks (Piņa Colada, Mai Tai) and delicious seafood. There was a singer there who played lots of Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, etc. The sunset was beautiful out over Laguna ...

    ... but this is nuts! Made it to LQ hotel in Waco by 630 and hit a cement column w side if camper- big gouge! PERFECT ! Got into room & ate. Pizza 4 Gary & leftover shrimp from RV 4 me. Tried. Turned off TV 1030. Ps - turn. Clocks ahead 1 hr , daylight savings time ...

    ... our trouble & he caame over cuz he works on them in ND. Hoped a reset switch was there = nope! Oh well. Was so nice ( of course) we went to Clayton's & Talked to 2 nice groups/interesting! Went to Pier 19 good shrimp scampi. Might stay 1 more ...

    ... of the cold as possible. I know we are getting to be wimps but.......so we are on our way to the southern tip of Texas. The state park we stayed at ending up being quite far off the highway, further than we planned. Anyway this is our holiday and we only want sunny ideal weather days....

    Bountiful wildflowers are a high point of being in Texas while they are getting rain. I wish we had been able to stop and take photos of the fields that were totally lavender, pink, yellow or white. But the roads are narrow and the RV is a little wide (and John drives way to fast!).
