The ferry was a catamaran with a cruising speed at about 30 knots and the crossing took about 3 hours. Not much to see along the way. While on the ferry we booked to see ...

Overcast and gloomy again, in fact maybe cooler than yesterday and the weather taking longer for the cloud to lift. We all went for drive. Did a loop from here, travelled south and crossed over to Bainbridge Island, headed north and then caught car ferry to Seattle, then back to Dash Point State park.

It was cloudy all day and some what chilly, well for summer ...

... maximize our weekend in Seattle. Rising early, as we were really still on East Cost time, we explored the scenic route, local markets and great views to arrive in Seattle around noon. Easily finding our Airbnb, we dropped our things and headed out on foot to explore the downtown.

It was a beautiful sunny day, so we blended in with the other tourists along the waterfront. The city is a perfect size and has a great vibe. We soon ...
