We had a great show last night (no one fell on stage!) and a great day overall. We started off the morning by giving public speeches. As many of you are aware, a huge aspect of Up With People is self-growth ...

Happy Thanksgiving Day to everyone!

I had a turkey sandwich today... that was the extent of my Thanksgiving Day meal! I was thinking today about how bummed I was to miss out on the stuffing, turkey, mashed potatoes, fresh rolls, pumpkin pie, corn, and of course the chex mix! (a strict Luebke tradition)

But I am in Denmark so I got over it pretty quickly :)

We are only here for about 2 days. We just arrived, have shows on Thursday and Friday, and then leave on Saturday morning for Sweden! Woah! What a whirlwind of travel! 3 countries in one week!

Udrejsen foregik denne gang fra Sønderborg over København. Det forekommet mig at afgangen til Beijing er rykket lidt frem. Således er der kun ca. en times ventetid/ophold i København. "Krisen" medfører at flyet ikke er proppet helt til randen som det plejer at være. Selv på økonomi kan man være heldig at have et frit sæde ved siden af sit eget. Vi landede i den nye terminal som er ganske flot ...

Silkeborg was a beautiful little city built around it's river. It had walking paths by the river, and in the summer had river cruises. Such a pretty place. One thing that caught our attention was the garages for boats, complete with roller doors and all.

... ocean too! we just wandered around his town and a couple of other small towns in southern Denmark. What a nice country! It reminded me of Holland. I can understand why they are still there. We went out to the coast and drove on the beach, it was quite cool! The sand is so hard packed that you can drive for quite a long way, I have pictures which will show it much better. Up early again to go to the airport!

... where they didn't win, but then they lost quite a lot of soldiers and forms an important mark in Denmark's history. Just watch out tourists for that fence rimming the museum's...a bit too war-like....seriously could take someone's eye out! 5 minutes from there ¨continuing on in the car, I noticed two tall black towers, very much like the two towers in the Lord of the Rings, standing randomly in the middle of a green field. Asking ...

... front train so you can see them as the train approaches the platform. I did the same thing, until I got to Hohlbeickestrasse (can't spell...) when I saw a dude wearing a Hochbahn uniform getting on the train. I just left the train and bought a ticket for 2,40 Euro, without saving any money effectively, but it's OK I guess, better than having to pay 40 Euros. It'll take about two hours to get to Flensburg, and I was planning on an extended trip into Denmark (Copenhagen), but I don't think ...

Huha... Så er det sgu ved at være snart! Jeg får sommerfugle i maven bare ved tanken. Men det er for fedt! Nu har jeg jo set frem til det her i en lille evighed... Mindst! Faktisk er jeg så småt også ved at være "næsten-klar"... :)Billetterne er købt, jeg er færdig på jobbet, lejligheden er solgt, rygsæk og sovepose købt, så nu er der kun tilbage at få småtingene på plads og vente på afrejsedatoen :) Her kommer lige en lille update på, hvad der alt er planlagt...
