... They have a wonderful tradition I would love to adopt. They spend sunset on he beach with a glass of wine and cheese. Check out the pictures. Fred even arranged a full moon for us. Haha. Fred showed us around the beach towns. Rob and I both fell in love with a little town Grayton Beach. Now this is what I picture when I think of a beach town. ... up and had everything in the trailer by 8:15ish but as we went to accelerate the van got stuck in the mud and there was a slight hill so it was going no where. After Houston we got the road and ended up in a place called Lafette and checked into the raddison. The next day we braved the grade two hurricane to get to Avery island, the original and only home of Tabasco sauce! The tour was really cool and the company still belongs to the original family and is produced still on Avery island- every single bottle!! The gift shop was ...

New food experience today was at breakfast, biscuits & gravy! It was ok although the biscuits (fluffy scones) had something sweet on top & the gravy tasted like Campbell's chicken soup with sausage in it. We drove to the beach today, Cypremort Point State Park on the Cajun Coast. It was really neat to see all the houses on stilts & the many waterways & Bayou's criss crossing the road we were on. Most of ...

... It was very pretty and the surroundings were serene. We left at 2.15 pm. It has been a busy day we arrived on Avery Island, at the Tabasco sauce factory at 2.55 pm. We went in and watched a 15 minute video on the history of the factory. It was something a family did for themselves in 1876 on Avery Island which is a salt mine and now 2.6 billion bottles a year is sold all over the world. We saw how it was made and were given 4 tiny sample bottles which were quaint. ...
