      ... Ranch in Amarillo, Texas. It's only one mile off the exit, right down there service road. You can actually see it from I-40 eastbound. It's pretty cool, if you like that kind of stuff.

      Very, very desolate and boring drive. But, I know the scenery will get more interesting from here!

      On to Sullivan, Missouri tomorrow.

      Left the very over the top Holiday Inn this morning after a great breakfast of steak & eggs for Peter (just bacon & eggs for me) included in the price, old town real didn't look too old though.       ... all nationalities leaving the school today and how much has changed in 57 years. We were very taken back by the experience.

      On a lighter note, later into our drive we began noticing white feathers floating in the air for miles and miles on the interstate...the next 18-wheeler we passed was a Tyson truck filled with live chickens on their final ride...RIP...Chic-Fil-A anyone?
