Hearing the sea lions on pier 39 and watching the magnificent iron structure through clearing skies, it remains one of the best sights and sounds place for me. The card houses on way to the downtown, through the futuristic windows of BART (the metro there), are a wonderful sight! It's almost coincidental that I met my first best friend from school …

... for the summit night when I was nauseous. That being said the climb was amazing. Definitely an experience and even more funny when everyone else talks about training or preparing by doing other hikes and I just go nope I just wanted to do it so I booked it and here I am. You are only able to spend about 20 minutes on the peak, but those 20 minutes are awesome. I was dead out of energy getting there, but once at the top, it is so energizing I felt like I could climb ...
Our first full day in the windy city. An action packed itinerary hitting some tourists locations, or as we call them, "tourist traps". As the walk was going to be hilly, we fuelled up with burgers from In and Out Burger, ...
... the bikes are a great idea! I would recommend it to anybody visiting San Francisco, if the weather is good that is. Once I had returned my bike I caught the ferry over to Larkspur, where Bhavik, Kristen and Sophia picked me up and took me to the local brewery for dinner. The Vyas family are the wonderful family I lived with while I was doing my internship in San Francisco two summers ago. They are such nice people, they kind of feel like family to me now ...

We travel often but have to drive several hours to reach the San Francisco airport. El Rancho is the place to stay. There is free shuttle service 24hrs/day every half hour. Rooms are clean and comfortable with free wi-fi and you can park up to 14 days for free ($5/day thereafter). Upon your return, if you chose to stay another night, you get a substantial discount on your room. We've been doing this several times a year for about 10 years now and wouldn't think of staying elsewhere.
