When you drive up Route 66 to Pops, it looks as though a space ship landed with a giant, and I mean giant, sculpture of a pop bottle with a straw.     ... all the jarring we had encountered on the ****** roads. We suffered with it for about 15 minutes before we found a spot to stop. It was in the town of Lonoke, population 2,320. As we pulled in it started sprinkling again. Gee, what a surprise.

    ... got a rush from the experience!

    More stops. More wind energy generator's as far as the eye could see. The weather was mostly cloudy but tolerable.

    We made it to just outside Oklahoma City to the small town of Yukon, OK (home of Garth Brooks) by dusk, did some laundry, had a great hamburger at a local chain, and called it a day.
