    ... as it appears they were having a homecoming celebration and fair going on. (When we were in the area earlier we saw a parade going on so decided to come back later.) The parade was over but the entire downtown area was blocked off and they had fair rides in the park. Nevertheless, we dutifully followed the Route 66 directions and checked it out since it is an original. Our next stop though was a real gem.
