After one more short little shopping excursion for really, really good cider and a new camera, I left Ontario via the bridge from Fort Erie into New York state and headed west towards Pennsylvania. I wanted to get out of the congestion around Buffalo before stopping for anything and I was about an hour down the road when I noticed the price of gas was about 60 cents/gallon less than I’d seen along the way, so, of course I filled the tank. ... drive was nice and we were able to check out some of the lake. (also.... in NY the I90 is a toll road and has already gotten us for $13, so the less we're on it the better.) We pulled off at this little marina/beach and waded around in the lake while Chula took a swim. It's in the 80's here and humid. The lake temp seemed to be in the low 70's I'm guessing. It's weird to think that this place gets such harsh weather and ...
