This is why we are so excited to be heading to this island group which is such a curious mix of British, Italian, French and Arabic cultures!!!!
The ghost at the Olde Angel Inn didn't put on a slam-bang show, but he did make himself known in several small ways. We experienced frigid breezes, the feeling that someone was behind you coming up the stairs, and items going missing. The most interesting thing that happened was the mysterious disappearance of a Canadian nickel.

After dealing with the border patrol it was late and we didn't make it to much further down the road. A huge thunder storm was building and we pulled into a Walmart in this little town around 9pm. We had a real good show from the lightning. A lot of it was sheet lightning and sometimes a bolt would start in the distance then come straight over our heads. The rains came later. We ate a late dinner and were out by 11.
I think there have been too many awesome experiences to really pick a favorite. I enjoyed Scuba diving and surfing. Being able to participate in a cattle drive was another big experience. Actually flying a plane (ultra-light trike) was by far an unforgettable experience. We packed in a lot activities into this trip. I don't know how we could have done more and it would have been a shame to do ...
I slept in, took a shower and had some coffee with my grandma and a little chat. Before I knew it, it was lunchtime, so we had some chili and red wine while waiting for Dante Irma to show up, before we went to my Aunt Diane's house for Michelle's baby shower.
