Rip Van Wrinkle or Crash N Burn

This was a very long, tedious day of driving. Nothing eventful happened except the driver's stress created by interchange systems at larger cities and road construction along the way. The highlight of the day was the 12, maybe it really was 13 or 14 hours sleep - well needed, for sure. As we woke in the night and then went back to sleep, it felt like we actually slept for several ...

We came to the conclusion that it was a warm up and shook it off with laughter. After getting on the right road, our companion: Hwy 70, we were off. Until, about 10 am when it was already past 90 degrees. We stopped at every gas station we ...

From bustling backwater Lonoke, AR:

Where the Fero cellphones have no bars, no bars as in dead zone, wasteland, busted.

When last we met, Mary Jo and I were readying our escape from the dreaded cedar season in Texas hill country. The air, already blighted by mold, fumes, exhausts, pollens, cement plant effluvia, gets worse. My head is already better, even here in the Lost World of Lonoke, Ark, although MJ's isn’t yet. ...
