... decided to take his advice and follow an alternative route and as we crossed the motorway further down the line and we could see the miles of traffic not moving we knew it was the right decision. We wound our way through rural Germany for a while before getting back on the motorway and carrying on. We needed to stop for some lunch and we hit a little more traffic near a rest area so we pulled in and could see the cause of the traffic, an accident on the other side of the ...

... for 600$ per month for 2 months at Cane Garden Bay inclusive sea view. Now I can surely laugh at all the tourists who pay this amount of money for one week in a hotel! Haha :) I guess the other days where I am "homeless" will be organized when I am there.

I looked up some places I want to see and planned things like surfing and snorkeling and all this paradise stuff. I still need to think of an internship assignment though.

... We spent the first full day detoxing - no smoking, no drinking and no leaving the bed... With the exception of going to a cafe called Gobi (that just so happened to have cheap cocktails going when we arrived) to find wifi as the apartment's wifi had broken two days into our stay. ... I knew we were at the border when everyone started looking like they were fresh out of the sound of music. Everyone gave their passports and it was all good until they searched 2 Lithuanian looking men. They took their passports with them off the bus and into their little van to do more investigation I guess. They came back on and pulled them off the bus and told the bus driver to shut the doors. They are now standing outside my window and Hansel ...

... beautiful city.

The houses in Amsterdam are beautiful... But crooked, they all look like
they're about to fall over... Walking around in the red light district
there are half naked girls in every second window and a coffee shop on
every corner... Beer is cheap, food prices ok and they absolutely love
their pastry shops... :) All in all a very nice trip to Amsterdam.
