        Most Picturesque town

        ... includes racing for PHRF, log canoes, Stars, Comets, Snipes, Penquins. Optis, Lasers and Club 420's. The harbor was packed not to mention the town. Our afternoon walk
        took us by a local park where 2 young girls were selling Pink lemonade and brownies
        we each bought one and sat on a bench overlooking the harbor and the races.
        I really enjoyed our quick stop here.

        ... of the boarding ramp, and I swore "No more ferry rides in the bus". OK, one more from Cape May, NJ to Lewes, MD. How bad could it be?? Well I had trouble again with the ramp. It took about 15 or 20 minutes to get us loaded, and all the people watching clapped and cheered when I finally drove on. The ferry was 30 minutes late leaving Cape May. So NO MORE FERRY ...

        ... to move the car (again - see parking post), then walked to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. No charge to enter museum which was a nice feature. Lots of interesting exhibits.

        We left DC late in the afternoon/early evening, hoping that rush hour would be over - no way. What our GPS told us would be a one hour trip to the other side of the Bay Bridge at Annapolis, took us over TWO hours. Most ...

        We'll, after an enjoyable and very quick week in Williamsburg in the comfort of a two bedroom condo with fridge, washer and dryer, three tvs, two baths etc., we are off again this morning back to living and traveling in the van and various camp grounds.

        We are making our way today up the Delaware side of Virginia across the Chesapeake Bay bridge to the east side of DC, but not before we make a stop at Yorktown to see the sight ...

        ... a river rope swing and small sandy beach.We passed an old wooden sail boat and the mansion of the builder of the EMPIRE STATE BUILDING.We drop the hook and have a great day swimming with the doxies and swinging on the rope swing.Ms scarlett finds a falllen tree and tries her skills as an acrobat and does very well.She is doing good off leash.We get up early and move across river to CACAWAY ISLAND to view fireworks 360 degrees .HOPE EVERYONE HAS A HAPPY 4TH OF ...
