Monday we traveled south on another hot day in the Chesapeake Bay. We left a quieter St Michaels and tried to enjoy the breeze our 10 knots per hour trawler created for us during the four hour trip. The several guide books we use to choose our next destination showed that Cambridge Municipal Yacht Basin had a laundry and pool. Two essential items for our next stop. We left DC late in the afternoon/early evening, hoping that rush hour would be over - no way. What our GPS told us would be a one hour trip to the other side of the Bay Bridge at Annapolis, took us over TWO hours. Most ...

We'll, after an enjoyable and very quick week in Williamsburg in the comfort of a two bedroom condo with fridge, washer and dryer, three tvs, two baths etc., we are off again this morning back to living and traveling in the van and various camp grounds.

We are making our way today up the Delaware side of Virginia across the Chesapeake Bay bridge to the east side of DC, but not before we make a stop at Yorktown to see the sight ...
