          Hello all

It was a nice long day but so worth it to get back to El Nido :-) We did a bit of milk run Nanaimo, Vancouver, Toronto then Fort Lauderdale it was all mostly uneventful with a bit of tight connection in Toronto but that was sort of our fault. Once replenished, we set off to Bayfront Park. In there was a big fountain, a play area which had a sea scene with dolphin, turtle and seal breaking thru a wave. There was a beautiful pond & rock planting with seating all around, several bronze statues & dedications to: Julia Sturtevant Tuttle - founding mother of Miami, Claude D Pepper - a us senate & ...

Walked around the ship at 3 AM to shoot some photos to give everyone a little photo tour today. Actually, that stupid decision to have pizza last night has me up trying to put out the flames in my throat from all the heartburn. Then I went back to bed, and slept in, because working on our forth time change has really screwed up the body ...

          Night 4: Merritt Safari

... supplies: medicine and food. My body needed both. I couldn't speak most of the morning without discomfort but the orange elixir filled with menthol and alcohol helped. We sightsaw in Daytona, a city full of strange colorful residents. Our main goal was to get to Merritt Island NWR, a buffer for NASA, that protects key estuarine habitats that birds love. In the winter it is teeming with birds trying to stay warm. It also is home to a lot of large, aggressive alligators. ...
