... The coffee shop was still overflowing as I walked back home so I resisted again. Afternoon was for making my mum's now famous 1-1-1 slice for Feast in the evening. It was at Melvina's home,. I was honoured to meet more friendly open people and ended up in deep discussion with a neurological psychologist who has just submitted a paper to the White House to reform the education system! Tomorrow is Fort Worth to do a museum or two and to see some Texan Longhorn Cattle. ...

The locals say it's warm, but for a girl of the tropics I have my ever present cardigan on! Denton (or as it's promoted online - 'little d') is a university town; or I should say a 2 universities town about the same size as Townsville. From our overnight at Lake Hubbard, we drove to Dallas to the George W. Bush Presidential Library, a request from Jimmy. EXCELLENT choice- so interesting, from the first exhibit about the American pastime of baseball ( and ALL the Presidents involvements), to the Response to 9-11 exhibit, and the Oval Office reproduction. Our next stop was to relive November 22, 1963. The sixth floor of the Book Depository building at Dealey Plaza was full of ...

... is 2 miles from DFW. What the research did not reveal that DFW airportsits on a site with about a 5 mile radius. After being driven to the new Target centre, and two stops at the historic Grapevine mills town centre, we get to the local DFO.
Black Friday is when a lot of people do their Christmas shopping and all stores have bargains. The best we could do were a few pairs of ...

... also gave me a tour of the plane! For dinner I ordered some gnocchi... It was unfortunately average. But that's what you can expect from plane food! Before I went to sleep they do a turn down service so they make your seat into a fully flat bed with a sheepskin mattress and a doona. It was very comfortable and that's the best I had ever slept on an aeroplane! It was also nice to see and observe that all the other first class passengers were very nice and ...
