Ok... Well actually it wasn't the Grease Monkey but the Gas Monkey programme on a Foxtel Channel.. We hadn't actually heard of it but it is obvious that it is a huge hit over here. Graeme and Eileen watch it all the time and were very excited.. I just took some photos because I could and well.. My god we are in Texas....!!
we had a meal at the Gas Monkey Bar and Grill. I'm not sure what it is but the Americans really just can't get the frys or the coffee right.!!!!
... the Grease Monkey series is filmed and going to his bar and grill for dinner tonight... We are staying at the Grand Hyatt inside the airport.. It's beautiful and we won't have far to go in the morning before flying to Hawaii, back to first class again... Nice...

... so spoiled from access to all the Smithsonians for years that everything seems to pale in comparison. The weather continued to get nicer as the day wore on and I even saw some sun in Portland in the late afternoon!
