Home Again, Home Again, Lickety Split

Well, perhaps not so much of the lickety split; it took us about 8 hours to get home, including stops. Traffic was worse today than it was Friday, though not as bad as it might have been. We didn't make any stops for touring--other than a little trip to the Moo Thru (I had Dark Chocolate and Cookie Dough, while Tim ate Dark Chocolate and Holstein [Chocolate Chip]). We got home around 5:30, much to the ...

We're off again for another weekend junket; this one is in honor of our 27th wedding anniversary. We're heading to Ohio for baseball, drive-in, and the feature event: a day excursion on the Ashtabula Special, a train pulled by the restored 1944 steam engine, the NKP765. Next hope: to arrive at campground in Tennessee by 7:00. GPS predicts 5:55 arrival; I said I’d believe it when I saw it. As it happened, we were moving merrily ...

... an eyeful of how the other half (or at least the 1%) lives. We’re going now thanks to a package deal that allows us to go rather on the cheap. We’ll do a little wine tasting and attend a game of baseball in the Valley League, a summer league for college ...

... a little warrior! I just feel sorry for it's friends who didn't make it! we got the trap set up and then later on had dinner made by Oakley which was cous cous with a tomato sauce! I was starving so it was super nice. It'll be interesting to see what happens tomorrow to see if that animal that's been killing the ducks is going to get in the trap! I also hope the baby chicks don't escape again tonight! I also hope my muscles won't be too sore tomorrow haha. Love being on a farm ...
