    After much thought I have decided to make my September 23 destination Louisville, KY rather than St. Louis, MO. This would drop my daily average miles from 77 to 57. 77 is really the max I should do rather than the average. Of the 3 H's (heat, hills, health), heat is absolutely crushing me right now.     We stopped en route for lunch in Galax, using Yelp to choose a place, which turned out to be very good. The lunch was so big, furthermore, that neither of us ended up wanting dinner AND there were leftovers. Yelp has never let us down yet!

    ... Perfect summer solution!) We hadn't stopped at this place in about 5 years (maybe longer), and they've increased the offerings quite a bit--you can now have a grilled cheese sandwich, a hot dog, or a hamburger. We stuck with ice cream. The Mint Chocolate is excellent!

    ... mood for games... He chased Cam around the house! Not only that, whenever Cam stopped and then ran again, Sam chased him again! Sam then had her in a corner and Cam tried to run away but Sam actually got in front of her and started hissing! It was extremely hilarious to watch a cat chasing a dog... Poor Cam was frightened for the rest of the afternoon though! After that drama Lindsey and I went to weed all the lettuce. Yikes - my back was sore from bending down! I hope it's not ...
