I know everyone has been waiting to see if I chickened out or not so I will build some suspense first... Started the day with a hair cut for lewy, he loved his spiky hair, and booking a bungy time for dad - non- refundable so I'd better not go for the cheese. Needed to fill in time and Lisa wanted to check out the autumn festival at Arrowtown so …

Finally made our way into queenstown and it was definitely worth the drive. Beautiful town with beautiful lake, rivers and mountains. God knows how cold it was but Dais and I thought we'd brave it and not go out with a coat on - its a pain when you're trying to dance and it's just another thing you could lose and I eventually get so hot anyway, I felt I didn't need one. We semi regretted this part way through the night while we were dipping and driving ...

    Am I losing my Englishness?

... half an hour before getting it. It was late and I didn't get home until gone an hour since I finished work. If I only had a car I could have been home in 10 minutes. I miss the freedom of my car. Come to think of it, it really is a bloody nuisance actually waiting around for ages then walking back in sub zero climates. The bus is always full of weird people too. So I guess for that reason I fit in. I can't wait to snuggle up in my bed now! Ero Tergum ...
