I know everyone has been waiting to see if I chickened out or not so I will build some suspense first... Started the day with a hair cut for lewy, he loved his spiky hair, and booking a bungy time for dad - non- refundable so I'd better not go for the cheese. Needed to fill in time and Lisa wanted to check out the autumn festival at Arrowtown so …

Finally made our way into queenstown and it was definitely worth the drive. Beautiful town with beautiful lake, rivers and mountains. IDE love to say the home cooked roast chicken and veggies made me feel better but not so much and Lewy is still carrying his cold too. The drive to start with …

With clouds building the next morning we made our timely escape back down the valley, and reached the car without getting wet. Back to Queenstown for a much needed rest, and then - onwards!

... It was so much fun but absolutely terrifying because you don't wanna feel what might be I'm front of you. As you walk round people jump out, grab you, spray water at you and scream in your face. I have never laughed and screamed so much in my life. I loved it and hated it all at the same time but would definitely do it again. Our photos were so good we had to buy them, Maarten's face is just one of pure terror! We went for a beer afterwards but as we were doing the canyon swing ...
