Day Two
... we gased up and hit the road. Thomas drove the whole day, which was fun for me to just take pictures and read my book out loud to Thomas as he drove. The weather was pretty miserable, but at least there was no ice and no terrible weather aside from clouds and rain/snow/wind.

Perfect RX
... park that was full with joggers at that time in the morning, The Cathedral Basilica of St Louis, the Jefferson Museum and some old mansions along the way. We had to cross over a bridge into Illinois and the state line was right in the middle of the bridge over the river. Upon entering Illinois we stopped for breakfast at The Waffle House where I had the most tasty waffles (what else would I eat there?).

Safely Out Of St Louis
... the site. I am actually hoping they will not appear from their trailer again tonight and give us some peace! A few too many beers on their holiday have made them incredibly repetitive and fixated in helping us.
A very good ride today and it feels like twisting our way out of St Louis was a major hurdle cleared. We make it 1000 miles to New York, 20 days cycling ahead of us now.

The Drive to Joplin
... br> fast. Getting through St. Louis was pretty easy. Hard to take
pictures while driving though.
The ride through Missouri was long and
because I was on a schedule I was sadly forced to pass up such
exciting tourist attractions as: The World's Largest Rocking Chair,
Spectacular Falls, Mermic Caves, and most sad, The Vacuum Cleaner
Museum.
