... on to get around the zoo, so we headed down the 'Fern Canyon' trail past the sleeping sun bears, to get to the pandas. When we arrived at the enclosure, we found that there wasn't much of a queue at all (although when we walked past later in the day people had been standing for around an hour!). Today was Ella’s day and with the jet lag again having an impact, we were all up and about before 7am. ... to admit that I did have a bit of a fear that something would go wrong during the trip. That we would get broken into (which nearly happened twice while we were 'home'), break down, get injured without having medical insurance, yadda yadda. The absolute worst thing is that we could somehow die and that could happen anywhere. Bad things happen. For the most part though, the trip went pretty smoothly.
