... the fireworks from the front gate! Not the ideal but worked ok under the circumstances and we could still see the fireworks.

Oh and I must mentioned I managed to have my photo taken with the star of the show! The kids weren’t really interested so it was up to me to take one for the team! Needless to say the kids were very tired when we got home and fell into bed and went straight to sleep. All three kids that is! Another great day at ...

... worn out rental car a.k.a. our accomatation, we needed to book a place to sleep. We found a cheep motel that had a free shuttle to the airport, washed some clothers, drank a few beers and then made complete pigs of ourselves at the 'all you can eat' buffet (this should have been called a 'grab what you can' whilst it lasts buffet as everyone else had the same idea!)

The happiest place on earth shouldn't be reached by getting up so early but we had a mission. We were up and on our way again early. Anaheim is not far from Long Beach and we got there in no time flat.

Parking at Disneyland LA is one slick operation. Angus was impressed by the six lanes coming into the ground floor and then all splitting off in all directions, the Tahoe was stacked on the sixth floor and the fun really began. There ...

... not be more excited. We're hoping to meet up with our friends Neil and Maria and Nick and Rachel in San Francisco, barring any Cat Emergency™ sequels.

Now that we're halfway through our trip (and just about done driving westward), we can say that this has been an incredible experience, and we are looking forward to sharing every moment on our way to Seattle. Here's hoping we don't get mobbed for being Seahawks fans in San Francisco!
