We also stopped at Starbucks and got warm drinks before going to find our viewing area. Our designated viewing area was right at the water front. Soon after arriving we started hearing the announcements that those in the front would get wet. Luckily, we had purchased rain ponchos from the hotel gift ...

... not be more excited. We're hoping to meet up with our friends Neil and Maria and Nick and Rachel in San Francisco, barring any Cat Emergency™ sequels.

Now that we're halfway through our trip (and just about done driving westward), we can say that this has been an incredible experience, and we are looking forward to sharing every moment on our way to Seattle. Here's hoping we don't get mobbed for being Seahawks fans in San Francisco!
