Unfortunately, the first ride we went on "Star Tours" fit into that category - and not only that, it had been upgraded to 3D since we went last time, so he was feeling decidedly "seedy" by the time we finished! Breakfast for the next 2 mornings were at iHOP - international House of Pancakes. I ordered, both times, 2 scrambled eggs, hash brown potato, 2 strips of bacon, 2 mini pork sausages, that came with (one morning) pumpkin cheesecake pancakes, (and the other morning) banana foster French toast. For a crazy cheap as price. Yummmooo!




After that it was straight to Disneyland. Our hotel was within walking ...

... he would rattle off a brief synopsis and some key fun facts for our touring pleasure. That was $1.99 well spent. At a lame robot show we went to about a robot in Innoventions Evan was reduced to taking his shoes off and moaning about his poor sore feet. We have loved Disneyland very much. But we're ready to go now. If I had to spend another day tomorrow walking from one land to another in the pursuit or short queues and fast passes I think I'd call it ...

... we couldn't have done absolutely everything.

Our first ride and one of the old favorites was the Matterhorn Bobsleds. Old because we'd heard about it from when we were kids as Mum remembered the Matterhorn from her Disneyland trip as a 9 year old. We really liked how every ride and attraction had a back story and lots of extras, not just the thrills of the ride itself.

We discovered that 'fast passes' were the best thing invented, and definitely ...

... at Santa Monica and drove to Disneyland Hotel via a shop the girls had seen advertised somewhere ( no idea where, maybe online or in some America kids magazine). Anyway, it's called "American Girl" and basically sells all sorts of girl dolls and outfits. My idea of something close to hell but they loved it. So did Dawn. Managed to talk Ruby (and Dawn) out of the $110 ...
