We decided to avoid Dallas on our way back to California from Austin. Once the sun set I knew we should start looking for a place to stay but each little town we came to on that back road had nothing to offer. What a relief to hit Comanche and see the Best Western. Clean. Cushy. Quiet. Free breakfast. Fast Internet and a laundry facility.

Mmmmmmmmm We stopped for ice and lo and behold....Dublin Dr Peppers! In honor of my sister, Kathy, we bought one for everybody. For those unversed in Dr Pepper language, Dublin Dr Pepper's are made with cane sugar instead of corn syrup and are only available in and around Dublin, ...
... I am sure we will have plenty of stories to tell from our upcoming two weeks.....some of us wanting to kill each other....but most about what hilarious antics we got ourselves into. And no doubt we will get into some, it's us, bad luck seems to follow us. We will try and update as much as we can, catch ya in a couple weeks! Ciao! PS we want ...
... of Dublin Dr Pepper soda, still made with imperial sugar, unlike the big brand Dr Pepper sold worldwide which switched to sucrose. Dublin Dr Pepper has a little factory tour and a museum and only bottles around 3000 bottles a month and still only delivers it in a 44 mile radius from Dublin. The tour and museum was very interesting and all four of us enjoyed the icy cold free sample bottle of Dr Pepper (which I thought ...
