    After a week of cities and 6 days of French, it was nice to head off the freeways to a quaint country town in Ontario. The drive was great, very small towns, expanses of wilderness, camping grounds and then we arrived in Peterborough. A large country town, but very quiet.     On monday the 27th I left Kingston to start with the first part of my big adventure. Where did I end up? At an amazing farm called Headwaters close to Cobourg, in the Northumberland Hills in Southern Ontario. From the property we have an amazing view on the countryside and lake Ontario, which looks in a way similar to Tuscany.     ... in the way of furnishings but they are clean and comfortable. The kids are very well behaved (except that one that cried for an hour on the plane) , clean, well dressed and happy. Family is very important with generations living together. The women take care of the home and are very hard working lifting huge loads for their slight builds.     ... lady who was trying to cut ahead of us (very, very rudely). Some nice moves on her - Eleanor threw her a hip and away she went into the ropes! We got shuffled into the line for the electronic customs check and were able to laugh at the butting lady who was still in line when we finished - ha-ha - that's karma baby!!!

    After the slowest baggage unloading I have ever seen (45 minutes at least), Erin pulled up to pick us up - thanks Erin!!
