... We thought we had a ghost in the RV when our furnace fan came on with the thermostat turned off. So Jim and Harv installed a cutoff switch to the fan - thanks for the help Harvey. Then it was off for a ride on the local carousel, followed by pizza and wings at Bugsy's, Harv's go-to sports bar for wings. These Canadians know how to eat (good and often).......

The drive along 401 from Detroit to Newcastle is 430 kilometers, or about 270 miles. ... place to turn around so when we saw one and thought that hill might be ahead, Denis worked his magic and turned Harvey around and parked and off we went.... only a few feet ahead around the bend there was no hill.... and very quickly we figured out we had turned on the wrong road again.... but we could walk there.... down the new narrow dirt road that we found to the top of the dam and the hill, that I must add, we could've easily gone ...

Heading south down the other side of the river still in search of the boulder we stopped at a couple of the locks. We lucked out again as they were emptying lock 4 or 5 in preparation for boats that had just entered lock 3.
