Mmmmm. The weekend was glorious. Stolen were a few hours of quiet time watching the shooting stars with hubby, pedicures with Nana, sitting on the deck with the puppy and partaking in an impromptu water balloon fight with the kids. ... but we kept ourselves amused! Thursday started out with rain, but not for long. Cleared up late morning and the sun came out and schorched us again. Went down for a swim and the water was a lot cooler. Payed some more cards, went for a walk and relaxed! Had a nice fire and enjoyed our last night. ... a quaint rural town early afternoon and went for a long walk around town. We're in a national parks area called1000 Islands, very picturesque.
By the way, they have a modern Casino, so that where we had dinner, and a small bet or two.
Tomorrow it's off to Montreal for a few days via the scenic route.
