Seeing on Facebook that a few of my friends were out wine tasting... And I find out they were in Fredericksburg, TX !!! About a 4 hour drive! I invite myself! Due to my car situation--2000 Honda Civic with 260000 miles. I call Enterprise Rent a car, they stay open until I get there. I'm thrilled!!!! I go to Aledo's Football game, go home, pack.... Sleep for a bit and head down the road at ...

... We looked around there for a bit before we ate. We all had something different, but I stuck with their brisket. Fantastic! We even had some left for dinner. Upon returning to town, we stopped at Walmart to walk off lunch. Back at the hotel, we played a full game of dominos. Then split up until morning. Then Bob went to Walmart while mom & I went to Save-a-Lot and Dollar Tree. When we returned to the hotel, we finished the game of dominos we had started this ...

We were concerned about rain. It stayed overcast all the way to Weatherford, Tx. Luckily no rain, but we did battle very high winds the whole way back .We wore the sidewalls off our tires. So exhausting. Wendi's final comment when we turned the ...

... for a lot of rain and whaddaya know? We got buckets of rain. Thankfully the lot is grass covered so although there are small ponds everywhere to sink your non-waterproof shoes into, you’re not pulling up 10 lbs of mud along with it.

We’re parked between the Marathon and Fletcher’s home not too far away from the back door, but even then, we still had trouble hearing any sound from the tent to ...
