Up at 4:45am (amazing sleeping by girls!) Breakfast in the hotel; girls ate bacon, croissant, eggs, french toast and Clara demanded an omelette only for us to discover she meant a bagel (but shaped like an "O", so understandable). Long and safe transit to Sydney is complete. I was able to sleep for about 6 of the 15 hours. My kindle, music and ample in-flight tv/movie options helped the time pass relatively quickly. It's 9:30am on Sunday, 72 degrees and mostly sunny. My Flight to Christchurch is tonight at 7:40pm. The travel coordinators set me up with a temporary Australian visa so that I can leave the airport and see some of the city rather than spending 10 hours in the terminal. Love to ...

It is here that one may join in, in costume of course, very special themed dinners and events as offered. ... I had chicken in mustard sauce with a delicious tiramisu-like dessert and the second menu was a slice of pizza.), the flight attendants were nice and the 90 minute delay caused by the airport apparently. Also, the seats were okay regarding their comfort.
